GGR Demonstrators Workshop: Building a community of social scientists

On Monday 21 October, the CO2RE Hub will host an internal workshop at Aston University in Birmingham for the Greenhouse Gas Removal (GGR) Demonstrator projects and their colleagues. The aim of the workshop is to:

  • Bring together and build a community of social scientists working in the GGR/CDR space.
  • Share concepts, methods and results across the projects.
  • Look for synergies and opportunities for common messages.

The Demonstrator projects will each give a short overview of their work, emphasising cross-cutting methodologies and findings. There will be interactive sessions on synergies and opportunities for integration across the projects, and the participants will look at how they might work together in the future on data collection, policy recommendations, dissemination and co-authorship. Ideas for scalability and revenue streams will also be put forward.
