How accessible is this website?

In order to ensure that all of our visitors can use our website, these webpages aim to meet Level-AA standard of WCAG 2.1. We are working to address areas where our accessibility needs improvement. For example:

  • PDF documents can not be made fully accessible to all screen reader software
  • some older videos may not feature captions
  • videos embedded from YouTube may feature labelling from YouTube itself, which could be incorrect or not sufficiently descriptive

Older pre-recorded audio or video media embedded on our website (e.g. videos from past events) may not have captions or a text alternative such as a transcript. We are working on adding captions, descriptions and/or transcripts to all embedded audio and video as required. Any new audio or video media we embed will aim to meet accessibility standards.

Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations

PDFs and other documents

Older PDFs may not be currently accessible, mainly those created in Word. Any new PDFs we publish will meet accessibility standards.
