Marsaili Van Looy works as a Research Fellow at CO2RE, focusing on the regulation of greenhouse gas removals across the UK and the devolved nations. Her work at CO2RE spans research on the comprehensive legal governance of both terrestrial and marine greenhouse gas removal projects.

Marsaili is a solicitor qualified in Scotland, practising previously in renewables and real estate construction at an international law firm. Her research interests include carbon capture and storage law, following her LLM in Global Environment and Climate Change Law at the University of Edinburgh.
