The UK GGR Event

The CO2RE Hub and GGR-D Programme are excited to be hosting the UK GGR Event, taking place at the Royal Institution in central London from Monday 29 September to Wednesday 1 October 2025. Bringing together researchers and innovators from the programme with policymakers, businesses, NGOs, investors and others with an interest in greenhouse gas removal (GGR), this celebratory event is the culmination of the 4.5-year UKRI-funded GGR-D Programme. We will share findings from research on assessing sustainable routes for large-scale removal in the UK, showcase the range of innovation and engagement projects supported through the programme, and foster debate on what comes next for GGR in the UK. The event will finish with a Demo Day highlighting a range of UK startups that are tackling some of the most interesting GGR challenges facing us today.

More information will be added to this page as details are confirmed. Please sign up for our newsletter to receive updates.
