Helen Bunting is the interim Communications Officer for CO2RE, based at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment, University of Oxford. She works to ensure the effective communication of CO2RE’s research, and is the first point of contact for members of the media wishing to engage with CO2RE. She is also the interim Communications Officer for Oxford Net Zero at the University of Oxford.

Before joining CO2RE and ONZ, Helen worked in interim administrative and communications roles at the Environmental Change Institute and the School of Geography and the Environment.

Helen previously spent eight years as an Editorial Manager at Oxfam, where she managed the publication of policy, research and programme learning reports, including for high-profile events such as the World Economic Forum, COP and the UN General Assembly. Prior to joining Oxfam, she spent two-and-a-half years working in communications roles at the University of Oxford, first at the Blavatnik School of Government and then at the Refugee Studies Centre.

Helen holds a B.A. in International Studies from Texas A&M University.
