This document synthesises the discussions of a workshop titled “Consideration of GGR into Emissions Trading Systems: Principles and Practice”, held on 25 April 2022. The workshop provided an opportunity to hear from recognised experts in the field, participate in discussion and help formulate timely guidance on whether and how GGRs should be included within Emissions Trading Systems (ETSs), with a particular focus on the EU and UK contexts.
