Lecturer in Climate and Society, Department of Geography, University of Manchester 

Rob Bellamy is co-investigator and lead on responsible innovation and societal engagement at CO2RE, and a member of the Hub Management Board. He is a lecturer in the Department of Geography at the University of Manchester and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and Institute of British Geographers. His research focuses on the social science of climate, nature and technology. 

Rob has over 12 years’ experience researching the responsible innovation of GGR across several projects, including as PI and Co-I. He is lead author of several influential papers on engaging society with GGR. He also works on energy system transitions, adaptation to extreme weather and climate geoengineering.
