Natasha Martirosian

Research Associate on Monitoring, Reporting and Verification

Natasha Martirosian is a Research Associate on Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) at CO2RE, based at the University of Bristol. Her current research focuses on MRV in land based climate mitigation best practices and global policy, including defining co-benefits and environmental impacts.

Her interdisciplinary background encompasses conservation, environmental policy, behavioral psychology and the arts, with a passion for defining sustainable pathways to net-zero through policy via deeper understandings of underlying local and global barriers. Her research has focused on behaviour change, self efficacy, biodiversity and ecosystems management.

Previous consultancy work includes creating a framework for prioritising biodiversity in the Environmental Land Management Scheme (ELMS) for Defra. Alongside this project, Natasha also works with the Bridge Farm Community on building sustainable futures through focus on diversity and inclusion, food sovereignty, and sustainable farming practices. At Avon Wildlife Trust’s Grow Wilder project, she teaches on the Grow Leader course on the subjects of Project Realisation, Volunteer Management, and Wellbeing.
